Jeffrey Wright, Eamonn Walker and Cedric the Entertainer will also star in the film playing Chess artists Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf and Willie Dixon respectively. Gabrielle Union has signed on for the role of Waters' girlfriend, Geneva Wade.
